When: Saturday, August 3, 2019, 3:00 to 5:00 pm (doors open at 2:30)

  • Open mic: If you’d like to read, sign up at the door. Please plan on reading one original, non-epic length poem.

  • Where: Sweetland Farm, 715 Route 132, Norwich, Vermont

  • Cost: Sliding scale donation of $6 to $10, includes readings, pie (savory, sweet, with vegan and gluten-free options), a souvenir pencil (while supplies last), and a Poetry & Pie 2019 bookmark. Custom poems by Taylor are offered on a sliding sale of $10 to $25.

  • RSVP: Seating is limited. If you’re planning on coming, please let us know

Montpelier’s PoemCity, formerly Poetry Alive!, has celebrated poetry for 9 years. In addition to PoemTown St. Johnsbury, there are two other satellites: PoemTown Randolph and PoemVillage/Adirondack. Details about PoemTown St. Johnsbury’s poetry postings and events will be announced at a later date.
